Jugular Vein Catheters for Rats

Our rat jugular vein catheters are made of a 3Fr polyurethane that is specially extruded for a perfect fit with 22ga devices such as Vascular Access Buttons™ and PinPorts™ . 

Features

• Medical-grade polyurethane tubing for biocompatibility and excellent fit on devices
• Available with either rounded tips (for ease of insertion and to minimize trauma to the vessel wall), or square tips (for reduced cost on shorter-term studies)
• Silicone collars for anchoring in the vessel
• Optional sleeves for high-pressure connections
• Manufactured in a clean room, individually packaged and EtO sterilized

If you are following the Instech/Lapierre rat JVC surgical procedure (insertion point 5mm from clavicle), choose your catheter based on body weight:

• 225g: C30PU-RJV2323 (2.3cm insertion length)
• 250g: C30PU-RJV2326 (2.6cm insertion length)
• 300g: C30PU-RJV2329 (2.9cm insertion length)
• 350g: C30PU-RJV2332 (3.2cm insertion length)

Minimum order quantity is 5 pieces. 

Always use sterile lock and flush solutions, otherwise you are defeating the purpose of using a sterile catheter.
