Our femoral artery catheters for rats are made using a 3Fr polyurethane that are specially extruded for a perfect fit with 22ga devices such as PinPorts™ and Vascular Access Buttons™. The distal segment may be smaller as required for the size of the vasculature. All feature rounded tips to reduce vessel trauma and improve patency.
