Stainless Steel Feeding Needles for Rodents

We have discontinued our reusable metal gavage tubes for mice and rats due to escalating costs, decreasing volumes and unacceptable lead times from our suppliers.

Most of our customers have switched to flexible plastic feeding tubes. Flexible tubes are an animal welfare refinement over rigid metal tubes which have been shown to cause significantly more esophageal inflammation. 

However, we realize some aggressive rodents will bite the plastic tubes no matter how good your technique is. Please see this chart for alternatives.
