New Product Release

Instech is pleased to announce a new addition to its lineup of flexible tubes for rodent oral gavage: the FTP-22-38 size features the smallest diameter tube that we offer, 22ga, in a 38mm length. This size has been designed for oral dosing of newborn rats, where the esophagus is particularly susceptible to trauma, but the animal is too large for mouse feeding tubes.

Like Instech’s other sizes, the tube features a soft bulb-shaped tip and is made of polypropylene, the same material used to make plastic syringes. The tubes come in a sterile package of five in boxes of 50 or 250 pieces.
